initial prototype for an aerial skiing game based on 100% analog, realtime control over the character.
no pre-built animations, just taking input from a controller and mapping it onto the player's joints, all powered by Newton physics.

A test of gymnastics physics based on input from 2 analog sticks to control upper and lower body. controller input can be seen in the lower right of the video. coded in C# using XNA and the excellent Farseer physics library. Currently just a test, no specific game plans at this point.

This is my first attempt at combining input from the Wii remote and rigid body physics. 2 Wii remotes are used to twirl a stick around. Simple force feedback is even included - the remotes vibrate when the collide with the stick.

this is basically a simple soft body simulation using springs and pressure. no multi-body interaction yet, just 1 body and multiple collision planes.

initial physics test using the latest version of Newton Game Dynamics. This is a physical character, with realtime powered hinge and ball/socket joints, being controlled by a game controller. Just some experimentation for a game idea I have.

this is a test of in-game pose setting to move a robot around. by setting goal poses, you can animate the robot in numerous ways. here are a few tries at making the robot "walk" just be setting those poses.

I hooked up my wiimote to my PC through glovePIE, and mapped it to the controls for my Trampoline game. The game is actually pretty fun to play this way!

WIP 3 of my soft body physics library for XNA. now featuring pressurized bodies (all of the balls in the simulation have gas pressure simulated), as well as static bodies for world collision.
at the end of the video I fill up the light blue ball with gass, you can see it stretch, pushing away the other objects.
